they definately do whiten your teeth. you can get kits ordered over the internet much cheaper than at the dentist (you take the impression of your teeth and send it back to them to make the trays), but maybe not as super white as the pictures will have you believe! i had some stains which needed to be polished off at the dentist as well.
i know that it doesn’t work on crowns (my dad whitened his teeth but the crowned tooth stayed yellow), but i’m not sure about dentures -best check with a denture clinic first incase you waste your money.
my dentist says that all teeth will gradually yellow over time. i believe yellowing is increased with smoking, coffee etc. but some people are just luckier than others

I don’t think $1500 is too expensive for teeth whitening. Last year I read another teeth whitening treatment which was cost $1600. And one of my friend took this treatment and were very satisfied with the result.

Well a ransom $1500 for whitening your teeth is an expensive idea. Rather the home-kits for teeth whitening are cheaper and also quite effective. Thanks for sharing the nice information.

$1500 to get teeth whitened? Thats too expensive and I would rather go with at-home teeth whitening kits, even if it lasts shorter compared to laser whitening. Good article by the way.

Laser teeth whitening costing up to $1500 is very expensive indeed. I am going to look into Crest Whitestrip as a few of the comments have suggested. Great post btw very informational.

The best results will still come from professional dentists.. But for casual teeth whitening that you can do at home, these products are okay and generally recommended by dentists. It’s great that these products have come out in this generation because not everybody can afford to go to a cosmetic dentist and have a procedure performed.

Ive used the Crest strips with some success. Kind of awkward to use, but effective. All the above are great if you dont want to spring for the custom molds and more expensive options.

I used the Crest Strips and couldn’t keep them on my teeth they moved around a lot and I didn’t have good luck with them.

When we were young we used toothpaste and salt to whiten our teeth. But when we’re old our dentist recommends Crest Whitestrips, it’s very affordable and very effective, too.
